Covid-19 Response
As a Licensed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly, we are in constant contact with the State and the Local Health Department with updates and requirements regarding Covid-19. Our facility takes the safety of our Clients, Staff and Visitors very seriously. The safety of our Residents is paramount to our operation. Our objective is to put in practice all required and recommended Health & Safety guidelines including those from the CDC & California’s Governing body.
We provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (ie. face masks, face shields, gloves etc.) for our Staff and Residents when required. All Residents, Staff and approved Visitors will practice universal precautions; social distancing; routine hand washing; use of hand sanitizer and daily Covid-19 symptoms checks. All individuals allowed into the facility will be “tested” using a temperature measuring device. If their temperature is consistently above 99 F degree, that individual will not be allowed to enter. An entry survey regarding symptoms will be required to be completed prior to entry by all visiting persons. Outdoor patio visits are available. An air purifier is in use as well a UV light disinfecting device. The facility is cleaned and maintained at all times. All commonly touched surfaces are disinfected on a routine basis with CDC approved disinfectants.
