Our number one mission is to give you peace of mind and help Seniors thrive in our Residential Care Facility for the Elderly. Amelia Rose Senior Care Cottage seeks to be a trustworthy service to our local community and the surrounding cities. We provide 24/7 focused, non-medical, true care and supervision for Seniors who are 60 and older. This service includes people living with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) to other forms of Dementia. Our home desires to restore Hope to you and your loved one, by providing high-quality compassionate care. We have created a residential home-like environment with you and your loved one in mind. It’s a faith-based community that leads with respect, honesty, and integrity in everything we do.

Dementia Care
Dementia Care begins with compassionate care service. We respect each and every Resident in a way that honors who they are today and celebrates their storied past. We understand Memory Care Residents can suffer from dehydration, poor nutrition, sleeping problems, behavioral problems, wandering, confusion, depression, loneliness and other symptoms of Dementia. Our Staff takes into consideration the Resident’s personal needs and caters their daily care to meet those needs. It’s important for Residents to have a daily routine with structure and purpose. A Physician’s Report is required and a Resident’s Care Plan is created from that report. Our Caregivers respect the Residents’ need for independence, while carefully watching for cues for when extra support is necessary. Dementia training and continuing education for all Caregivers is a California Department of Social Services (CDSS) mandatory annual requirement which we embrace. Our person-centered approach to providing care is a joint team effort. This dedicated team includes Families, Nurses, Physicians, our Staff, Facility Administrator, and other supportive services. Amelia Rose Senior Care Cottage was designed to be a safe and secure smaller community where individualized attention, daily observation and supervision is readily accessible. We offer appropriate and stimulating activities in an enriching family-like social environment.
Hospice & Palliative Care
Amelia Rose Senior Care Cottage retains a state approved Hospice Waiver. Hospice and Palliative Care provides our Residents with specialized care through coordination with a designated Hospice Care Agency and a Palliative Program. This service is for the Resident in need of management of symptoms/side effects and/or an advanced, life-limiting illness. It is also a joint effort along with our Staff, the Physician, Nurses and Spiritual Counselors/Ministers. The focus is on the Resident’s comfort level, physical, emotional and spiritual well being, as well as their quality of life. It allows the Resident to remain in our home and continue to receive dignified, high-quality, compassionate care. The Resident’s Family and Loved Ones can have daily frequent visits. We understand how difficult this time can be and we are here to serve You and Your Family as best we can.
Respite Care
Respite Care is a service provided for our short-term and temporary stay Residents. They will be given a full service, all-inclusive Amelia Rose Senior Care Cottage Residential Care experience. On the other hand, the Resident’s Primary Caregiver receives a break from all their day-to-day caregiving duties. The short-term Resident enjoys the benefits of Respite Care while making social connections with others and engaging in planned activities. The Primary Caregiver can take personal time, rejuvenate and breathe easy knowing their Loved One is safe and sound and receiving great care. Respite Care can be an affordable option as opposed to a private caregiver’s hourly rate. At Amelia Rose Care Cottage Respite Care rates start at $185 per day.
